About

I have a varied background including creating and exhibiting artwork and work as a Reiki practitioner. I believe that my varied life experiences and many years of interest in Buddhist/Hindu philosophies and practice of meditation all come together to contribute to a unique experience in the therapy room. I also believe that the knowledge gained through these modalities help serve to inform a mind-body perspective of each client’s unique situation and life journey.

I received my clinical internship training at UCSF and further training at Choices Mental Health Clinic and the Mental Health Association of New York City as well as private practice offices. I am a clinical life member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

In addition to over ten years of clinical work, I have taught Graduate courses in Marriage & Family Therapy to students in a Masters program. Additionally, I have worked for UCSF as a Mental Health Assessor on two research studies involving individuals dealing with homelessness, mental health issues and HIV/AIDS.
